What is Quinoa?

Quinoa is a grain-like seed (pseudocereal) from the amaranth family that has become popular for its balanced nutrition and culinary flexibility. It cooks to a fluffy texture that absorbs flavours well and fits into many recipes, from warm grain bowls to cold salads and grain-based sides. This product is grown on the Damen family’s certified organic farm in North-West Tasmania. The seed is cleaned, stored and packed on-farm under Australian organic standards to give you a traceable, low food-miles grain
